Edible Brownie Batter Cookie Dough

Ready for your new favorite snack. If you’re like me, you love eating plain brownie batter. With this you can eat it by the spoonful without getting sick. This has no eggs and heat treated flour. This ridiculously delicious and addicting recipe is from butternutbakeryblog.  Let’s get baking!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 cup chocolate chunks or chips, optional

DIRECTIONS:

  1. In a bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar. Make sure the butter is cooled. Whisk the two together until combined.
  2. Microwave the flour for 1 minute and 15 seconds. Sift in the cocoa powder and heat treated flour and mix. Add in the maple syrup.
  3. Pop the batter into the refrigerator for about 10-15 minutes until thickened. The longer you keep it in there, the thicker it will get.
  4. Stir in the chocolate chunks. Enjoy! Also if you love cookie dough try my edible cookie dough recipe!

Thanks for baking with me!
