This is my go-to recipe for buttercream. It’s not too sweet and is great when piping because its light and fluffy but holds its shape. let’s get baking!
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup butter (softened)
4 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1-4 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
DIRECTIONS:
In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat the softened butter until creamy.
Gradually add in the powdered sugar.
Once all combined, add in the vanilla. Then add in the heavy whipping cream 1 tablespoon at a time. Once it is at a good consistency, stop mixing and use buttercream right away. Enjoy!
