Homemade Chocolate Brownies

These delicious brownies are gooey and rich. Just add a glass and milk and nothing is better. This recipe from joyfoodsunshine.com is easy and so good. Let’s get baking!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon fine salt
  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup salted butter
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar 
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
  2. Grease a square baking dish
  3. Mix the flour, salt, cocoa powder in a small bowl and set aside
  4. Melt chocolate and butter together in bowl. You can melt the chocolate and butter in the microwave or on the stove until smooth and glossy.
  5. Beat eggs for 1 minute until thick and pale.
  6. Add the sugar and continue to beat for another minute. Sugar should be dissolved.
  7. Add the melted mixture and vanilla and stir. Add the dry ingredients until fully incorporated. Make sure there are no lumps and the batter is smooth.
  8. Fold in some extra chocolate chips if you would like. (And who wouldn’t like?)
  9. Pour the batter into the greased pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Let the top set. 
  10. Cool, cut, and enjoy!
