Nutella Swirled Brownies

These are the best brownies ever. If you are a chocoholic than this recipe is for you. My brother loves Nutella and we always have plenty of it in our house so I thought this would be a fun recipe to try. It’s rich, gooey, and melts in your mouth. Grab a glass of milk and dig into these brownies. This recipe is from houseofnasheats.com. Let’s get baking!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/3 cup melted salted butter
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs (room temp.)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups Nutella divided
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2/3 cups all purpose flour
  • 2/3 cups chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and line an 8″x8″ square pan with a parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until combined. Now add the eggs, vanilla, and salt. Whisk until just combined.
  3. Whisk in 1 cup of the Nutella until combined.
  4. Pour the flour, cocoa powder, and chocolate chips, over the batter, then stir just until combined.
  5. Spread the brownie batter in the prepared pan. Don’t forget about those corners!
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the reserved 1/2 cup of Nutella over the top of the batter. Use a knife or toothpick to swirl the Nutella into the batter.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, just until a toothpick comes out mostly clean. Let the brownies cool and cut into squares. Serve and enjoy!
