These biscuits are so good. You can put many things like, butter, gravy, jam, and honey. They are flaky and rich. I absolutely love this recipe from, dashofsanity.com because you can make these in 20 minutes or less. let’s get baking!
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chilled butter (salted)
- 2/3 cup milk
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat the oven to 415 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Sift together the flour, baking powder, sugar, cream of sugar, and salt.
- Using a pastry blender, your hands or a knife, cut in the butter until coarse crumbs form.
- Pour in the milk slowly. Use a fork to stir. Stir until the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl and forms a ball. It might be a little sticky so just flour your surface.
- Roll out the dough 1/2 in. thick. Use 2 or 3 in. circle cookie cutter, bowl, or cup. Place the dough circles on the baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and risen. Serve right away and enjoy!
Thanks for baking with me!
