Chocolate chip cookies

Here is one of my favorite cookie recipes: Nestlé Toll House chocolate chip cookies. These cookies are the soft, melt in your mouth kind of cookie. Ya you know the best kind of cookie. This recipe is easy and perfect for any time you just feel like being creative in the kitchen. Let’s get baking!
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 3/4 cup white granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups (12 ounce package) of Nestlé Toll House semi-sweet chocolate morsels
DIRECTIONS:
- First, combine your flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. Whisk together.
- In another bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until a creamy texture appears.
- Add in the eggs one at a time, beating well after each egg.
- Slowly add in the flour mixture. Once the combined mixture is a cookie dough texture, add in the chocolate chips in one at a time.
- Once well combined, take out the dough out of the bowl and divide in half.
- Prepare 2 waxed paper pieces at least 15 in. Then, shape each half into a log and wrap in the waxed paper. Refrigerate both logs for at least 1 hour
- After 1 hour, preheat the oven to 375 degrees and take the logs out of the fridge and unwrap them.
- Cut the log into 1/2 in. slices and place onto prepared baking sheets lined with parchment paper, about 2 inches apart.
- Put in the oven and bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Transfer to cooling wrack and cool completely
- All there’s left to do is, you guessed it, eat them!
P.S The cookies are even yummier with ice cold milk!
